Celebrating 15 years in Publication
I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has made this magazine possible; our subscribers, advertisers and contributors. Because of your support the sport of crossbow is spreading like a raging wildfire across the country, and around the world.
Every year we are seeing more and more states jumping on the bandwagon of allowing the use of crossbows. To keep this fire burning, we urge you to join Crossbow Connection Magazine now, to continue to help us fuel this fire.

Now for the bad news...
Our 2015 October anniversary issue will be our last issue . . . that is, our last issue that you will see in black and white. Starting in 2016 we will be a FULL COLOR publication! We are very excited about this long awaited change and I know you will be also. There is a lot that has to happen on our end to make this change, so the February, June and October issues will run one month later just for 2016. They will be in your hands March, July and November. Sorry for the delay but we will need the time, it will be well worth it. We will be bigger and better than ever, ENJOY!
In a statement issued from the company headquarters in Ohio, Crossbow Connection Magazine announced that in October of 2000, the first issues rolled off the presses and into the long awaited hands of crossbow shooters, as the first magazine dedicated to the crossbow enthusiast. Founder and publisher, Leone Russo, states that each issue is filled with something for every type of crossbow user. Some of the sections include technical advice from both the manufacturers and pros in the field.
Other sections include stories from our young, lady and Physically Challenged hunters as well as a photo gallery.
For those of you that enjoy shooting tournaments, both local and international, we got you covered. Our newest section is dedicated to Our Warriors. Check out the latest in crossbows in our Manufacturers section. Our What's Hot section is full of new products that will be of interest to all. Ever want to have your picture or a story about your hunt in an outdoor magazine? Well here's your big chance. Send them along to us and we will use them in an upcoming issue.
